VLOG PENGUIN EP. 06 – SMEs AND FAMILY BUSINESSES

Catherine Beaucage is a consultant at Coboom and teaches entrepreneurship classes at HEC Montreal. She talks about family businesses with PENGUIN because SMEs are the core of Quebec’s economy and 90% of them are family businesses. That has a big influence on the dynamic of Quebec’s businesses, especially when it comes to thinking performance and sustainability on a really long term and the importance of knowledge transmission to the future generations. Her consulting job gives her the opportunity to collaborate with the future SMEs, to work with them to define or redefine their missions, visions, valeurs, strategic planification and to assure an impact on the entrepreneurial future of our beloved province.
